Is life what you think of yourself or what others think of you? Asher's debut novel is a social and interpersonal eye-opener set in high school. Two teens serve as our connection to a passionately written world. Hannah is a thought-provoking young woman who has committed suicide, while Clay is a sojourner who is trying to figure out where he fits into the Thirteen reasons why Hannah died.

Set in Nazi Germany during WWII, The Book Thief is a moving tale of a young girl's life as told by DEATH. Liesel is a girl who is haunted by her past, comforted by her present, and tragically following her future. The amazing writing style and beautiful pictures that are woven by DEATH give this book breath & life. You can't help but see through the characters' eyes, hear through their ears, and speak their words as you travel with Liesel through her powerful story.

One of the most enjoyable graphic series I’ve read in a long time. This conceptually awakening graphic novel is an amazing look into a future no one could see happening. In an instant, everything on earth with a Y chromosome dies. This unknown destruction has left one man and his male capuchin monkey live on a planet full of women. Nothing is as it seems as York Brown looks for answers and his lost love Beth.
